Wendi Shafran RA LEED AP
Wendi Shafran has nearly 15 years of professional experience prior to joining GF55 Partners. A Registered Architect with an acute attention to detail, Wendi Shafran brings a sharp skill set to GF55 as Project Architect. Currently she is working on East Burnside, a mixed-use affordable residential apartment building in the Bronx, the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Long Island City , The Elliot-Chelsea Tower and several mixed income buildings in Harlem. Her previous experience includes Project Manager at Rice Architects where she oversaw the design, development and construction of a 100,000 SF new residential building in East Harlem and as Staff Architect at Santiago Calatrava Associates where she worked on Design Development and detailing for Path Station Word Trade Center Transit Hub. Ms. Shafran graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College with a B.A. and departmental honors in 1994 and received her Master of Architecture from Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in 1997.

Chika Yamada
Chika Yamada has been with GF55 Partners since 2005 and oversees a variety of projects as Project Manager. Some of her responsibilities include conducting code research, working out project schedules, coordinating drawings with consultants, and assisting expeditors with project filings. Ms. Yamada has been a Project Manager for 48 Bond Street, Bluestone Organization Office and Co-op Buildings, Columbia Hicks, South Bronx Condominiums New Foundations, Hamilton Lofts, and Austin Street. Chika Yamada’s portfolio also includes a 9-story gut renovation of a high-rise office building in New Orleans, LA, a new facility for New Orleans Teleplex, an addition to the Loyola Law School Library, and planning and production of price plans for high-rise office tenant spaces. Chika Yamada graduated from Tulane University in 2000 with a Masters of Arch.
Saul Munoz
Saul Munoz joined GF55 Partners in 2007 and brings 25 years of professional experience to GF55. He oversees a variety of projects as a Project Architect and Designer. Current responsibilities include, Zoning Analysis, Planning, Design Development, Construction Document and Project coordination. Saul Munoz is currently working as Project Manager for 88 Morningside, a new Co-Op residential building in West Harlem and + Art, a new residential Condominium building in West Chelsea. His previous experience includes Project architect and coordinator for international projects in Dubai and Panama City for the Pei Partnership. Previous to that he worked for Rex Gedney in Rye NY on high end single family homes. Saul Munoz has a Bachelor Degree in Architecture at the University of Panama 1984 and a Master in Urban Design from Pratt Institute 1989.
